Did you know that Wells Fargo received a $681 million federal tax refund last year, all the while profiting from building prisons and foreclosing on our communities?

Corporations like Wells Fargo don’t have to pay their taxes like you or I. Instead they get bailed out and we foot the bill. In addition, they continue to profit over the financial collapse they helped create. Refusing to work with homeowners and choosing instead to foreclose and take their homes. What’s worse Wells Fargo invests in private prisons and pours millions in to nasty legislation that criminalizes our community in order to fill jail cells.

That’s why community members and We Are Oregon will be joining the Portland Central American Solidarity Committee (PCASC) in recognizing the National Day of Action against Wells Fargo.

Join us for the Action as we deliver a message to Wells Fargo and demand they pay their fare share and stop taking our homes and incarcerating our community!
